They say that a mother’s love has no equal. I believe this is based on the fact that it is the mother who carries the child for 9 months. The father, obviously, also has a very great love for the child (a love that is perhaps expressed differently and, therefore, it is unfair to compare “mother’s love” with “father’s love”). But, I would like to reflect on something in the Bible.

God’s Word says, “But Zion [God’s people] said, “The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me” (Isaiah 49:14). And God answers: “Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands” (Isaiah 49:15-16).

Here, God is saying that He has inscribed our name in His hands. You know when you don’t have a piece of paper to write down and you write with a pen in your hand? That’s what he did. It is God’s way of saying, “I will never forget you.” Perhaps, you feel forgotten by God and by everyone. You may have been forgotten by people, but you can’t have been forgotten by God.

The fact that I am giving you this message is proof that He has not forgotten you. It’s easier for you to forget Him than He to forget you. So what happens is that you have been immersed in your problems, which have drowned you. So there is this feeling that He doesn’t help you.

What do you need to do? The first thing is to stop blaming God, saying that He doesn’t help you. You are turning to the only one who can and wants to help you. He is there and He needs you to trust Him. Give Him these problems that are on your mind!

Maybe, you’re desiring to do more than you can. Let God guide you. Try saying a prayer, giving it all to Him. Relief will be immediate. And I assure you that you will no longer think about giving up on living, much less that God has given up on you. Practice it. Then you come back here and tell me. Watch the video above.
