NOT EVEN GOD DOES ANYTHING ALONE (an alert about individuality)
Do you think human beings were created to live alone or in society? If not even God does anything alone, imagine His creation and how we should live.
I invite you to meditate with me on a fact that affects our lives. I want to talk to you about the false independence promoted in the world (and in every way) today. The idea that you are “the” everything you need. You hear that in songs, TV series, and everything else. This even entered the church. There is a movement of the “unchurched.”
Do you think man was created to live alone or in society? When God created the human being, what was His project? From the beginning, God saw that it was not good for the man to live alone; He made the woman, and there, the family came. Naturally, following the order God had determined, they would all be children of God. But sin came in, and you already know the rest of the story.
No one is totally independent. Not even God makes Himself independent. There is the Holy Trinity in the Person of God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God could be only one Person, but He presents Himself as three People. He presents Himself as a family.
He introduced Himself to Abraham and said that all the families of the Earth would be blessed with him. God has always talked about society.
For the ego, it is very easy to live alone, especially when we are disappointed by people. Our will is to isolate ourselves. But this feeling is not healthy; it is a reflection of pain. But, in practice, who can say, “I am self-sufficient?” Do you live without the bin collector or the baker? No one is independent.
This thought aims at eternal separation from God. If you fill yourself with pride, you will have less of God.
So, when the world insists on saying that you need to be alone, understand that you are being targeted by something diabolical. God calls us to love others. As much as we have people who mistreat us, this is the challenge of faith. God challenges us through these difficult relationships to be better. We need to learn to control ourselves, share, and forgive (these are Divine attributes we can only practice through others).
It is common for people to be disappointed in church, but you’ll be disappointed anywhere. Evil promotes the thought, “I worship God inside my own house.”
However, the whole message of the Gospel is collective. The Lord Jesus gathered the disciples and gave the order to go all over the world and preach the Gospel to everyone. Is it possible for a single individual to comply with this order? Or is it necessary to work as a church, as a body for that? And we have seen this, especially through the Rio Grande do Sul tragedy. The Church of Christ, in a few days, had a reach that no government group could reach. And that’s what the devil fears. Therefore, his strategy has always been to generate division.
So fight it. Learn to unite with God and try to be reunited with Christians in the church. Add and stop “nitpicking”. Do your part. Where there are people, there are problems (since the times of Peter, Paul and John). This way, you will be on God’s side, not Satan’s.
Meditate on this and watch the video above.
