Oh, GOOD FEAR!

Don't be fooled by thinking that you will reap something different from what you sowed because that's not what the sowing law determines. This rule applies to everything in your life.

The Sacred Text says: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap”
(Galatians 6:7).

First, he warns: “Do not be deceived”. He is speaking here, of course, to those already knowledgeable of the Word. You telling someone who doesn’t know God that they shouldn’t be deceived is a waste of your time. Because for them, there is no mistake; for them, everything is correct. The Spirit is talking to those who already know right from wrong.

We don’t need to justify the right thing. I don’t need to explain what’s right. I don’t need to explain why I returned the correct change to the person who gave me the wrong change. I have peace when I do the right thing. But that’s probably wrong if I keep justifying my actions.

Be careful! “God is not mocked.” Many people think they can play with God. And I’m not talking about the Old Testament. Because there are Christians who like to roll in sin and quote the New Testament to say: “I do not live under the law; I live under grace.”
This passage in the book of Galatians is in the New Testament, and let’s remember that Revelation is also in the New Testament.

The person sows what is good and wants to demand what is good: “God, I have done my part, and the Lord is not blessing me.” But the Text says, “for whatever a man sows” (that is, even conscious mistakes as well), you’re going to reap. Don’t blame God for your seed. If I reap what is good, I sow what is good. If I sow evil, will I blame God? The people? No.
Knowing what’s right, I chose to do what’s wrong. So, God will let me reap what I’ve sown. This is a universal law.

Have this understanding in you. Have the right mind to fear God. It’s fear that protects us from evil. It’s not to be afraid of God but to have respect for Him. Just as a respectful child would never put their tongue out to their mother or father. My fear protects me. You will always walk in the light and be cared for by God. He guarantees: “Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways” (Psalm 128:1).

If you are going through unhappiness, could the reason for that be your lack of fear for God?
