THE BIN LORRY PASSES BY YOUR DOOR. WHAT DO YOU DO?

There are many voices, ideas, truths and garbage in this world. Be careful not to let all this accumulate in your mind.

The sound of many voices conveys confusion (disruption, even). Who hasn’t been in an environment like this and said: “Let’s go to the other room so I can hear you better?” This is happening today in a generalised way (not literally, but in the sense of “information”). In the past, the number of voices was minimal (it was not little, in comparison to today, almost nothing). Today, how many voices speak in the world?

See what the Word of God says: “There are, it may be, so many kinds of languages in the world, and none of them is without significance” (1 Corinthians 14:10).

In other words, every speech emits a meaning. And if you are exposed to many voices in your head, which one would you say is your mental, emotional, and spiritual state? The more voices you hear, the more confused you get. Therefore, you need to get that old advice from the Lord Jesus: “Do not mix the wines” because the person can get very sick. Likewise, people who do not have clear thoughts are listening to everything and everyone and borrowing someone’s opinion. They become someone’s “parrot”.

There are many voices in the world, and none is without significance. But throughout the Scriptures, God always warns that the people must hear His voice.

One of the most well-known passages is: “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 28:1,2).

So, God knows the power that a word has in a person’s life. That is why, He warns us to tune in to His voice.

Sometimes, by accident, the news comes to you. You stumble on the information. But it is possible (and even necessary) to be selective about what you let enter your mind. Often, the voice comes to you, and it is required to say: “I don’t want that”.

There are things you see and will never forget. After you see it, it doesn’t go out of memory. That’s why the Bible says that we should put before our eyes only what is worthy, what does good.

I don’t agree that we should bring everything to our minds to come to an opinion. Because it’s as if you brought everything you find on the street into your house, and you separate one thing from the other. You already select what you want before bringing it home. You don’t bring the garbage from the street into the house.

The mind is a place that must be protected, and not all voices deserve a space in it. You have to put a filter on the door of your ears. We must say to the diabolical voice: “Get out of here. I don’t want to hear it. I don’t want to talk.”

So, beware of the many voices you have heard because sometimes you are in a state of confusion, lethargy, or “paralysis by analysis” because you only bring voices of doubt, evil voices, instead of listening to God.

What are you going to do about it? Watch the entire message in the video above.
