WHEN YOU RECEIVE BAD NEWS, LISTEN TO THIS
Today's message is for you who have received bad news, are worried, anxious and have a distress that weighs on your heart. Listen until the end; you will be strong enough to face everything ahead and trust in God.
I have good news for you who received bad news:
“Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments” (Psalm 112:1).
The Bible speaks of the fear of God as the only fear we should have in life. If we fear God, we do not have to fear anything or anyone.
Pay attention: you, who are there and don’t know what to do, soon, God will enlighten your understanding, and you will know exactly what to do.
“His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever. Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies” (Psalm 112:2-8).
Do you believe this Word? If you believe, now, with this Word, receive peace in your heart. Be free from this terrible news that filled you with fear. If you opened your mobile phone this morning and received a message with bad news, fear not. If you trust in God, you will no longer need to fear anything or anyone.
It’s as Psalm 27 says: “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalms 27:1).
And this fear is not fear, but a respect for God, which is confirmed by your actions towards Him. It is not enough to say that you fear God. You know you respect Him because of the behaviour you have towards Him. Even when no one is looking, you respect Him. This fear serves as a brake, and you do not do something that harms your relationship with Him. You treat God as Lord. He is fearsome, and you respect His sovereignty and His holiness. He is always right. He is God, and you are a mere creature. Even if you disagree, you obey and fulfil His will.
When you have this relationship, He has your back. They can threaten you; you will keep your nose up and stand straight ahead. If God is with us, who will dare come against us?
